The 28 Day Self Love Challenge – Day 13

Day 13 of the 28 Days of Self Love Challenge

Today’s Challenge is to Listen to your favourite music. Music is food for the soul. Music helps take the mind off of your worries and can alleviate the pressures of everyday life.

I love listening to music and more than anything, I love waking up to music! Listening to hymns in the morning used to fill my day with positivity and joy. When I was expecting my firstborn, I used to fall asleep listening to hymns. And once he was born, that same collection used to magically soothe him to sleep! I had heard and read about things like these, but experiencing it was compelling.

By the time I was expecting my second, music was almost non-existent in our lives. Without realizing it, we had almost entirely stopped listening to music. It just got lost among the mundane tasks of daily life.

So it felt really great to wake up and listen to my favourite songs this morning. I actually just tuned in to one of the music channels and was lucky to have my favourites playing!

I really don’t know if it was a coincidence, but today’s day was almost stress free! Either way, I plan on keeping this up and listening to some lovely music everyday.

Now over to you
