The 28 Day Self Love Challenge – Day 4

Day 4 of the 28 Days of Self Love Challenge

Today’s Challenge is to go to bed an hour earlier than usual. This is a huge challenge for busy moms, especially those with small kids. Sleep is extremely important for your health. Besides it also helps improve your mood and productivity and makes you look better!

My Day 4 experience

I have to confess – I have always been a bit of a night owl. But after having kids, it only got worse. Initially it was the late night waking and nursing sessions. But even after that, the only time I had to do myself or to catch up on chores was after they went to bed. As a result, I often ended up staying up late just trying to get things done.

So far today, I continued with my deep breaths, stretching and drinking water and it honestly feels so good! If you haven’t been doing this, I realllly recommend that you try it out. Seriously, what do you have to lose?! On the contrary, there’s so much to gain! 🙂

I also spent a few minutes this morning planning my day, so that I will be able to go to bed earlier. Of course, kids are famous for derailing the best laid plans. But for now, I’m being optimistic. I also have planned extra time with them, so that I can tire them out just enough to fall off to sleep early. So early bedtime for everyone tonight!! Yaayy!!

This one’s going to be a real challenge for me but i’m looking forward to it!!
