Day 5 of the 28 Days of Self Love Challenge

Today’s Challenge is to Journal before bed each night. When you journal, you get your thoughts out of you head and onto paper. As a result, Journaling before bed can help reduce stress and make it easier to fall asleep.

My Day 5 experience

Journaling is something I used to do in my younger days when I was angry and upset. Of course, back then it didn’t have a name :). I would basically just vent out on paper and then either tear it up to bits or burn it all to ashes. And for some reason, this felt good!!

Of late, I have been hearing a lot about journaling and have been considering keeping a journal. So, today’s day was a good start. In fact, today was just one of those days when everything seems to go wrong. By the end of the day, I was exhausted and pretty stressed and you won’t believe how great it felt to vent everything out onto paper. lol. I usually vent out on my hubby, but from now on i’ll spare the poor guy and just use the journal instead 🙂
